Timber News
Gavin Wilkinson steps in as GM-Coach as Chris Agnello steps down . Gavin has been with the Timbers from 2001 when the team was reformed. Here is more about Gavin. Gavin will bring back some of the excitement that the Timbers lost after last seasons poor performance.
One of the Timbers all time great players pass away.
Glenn Myernick past away after a heart attack Monday October 9th.
Glenn was an important part of the NASL Timbers. He went on to coach the MLS Colorado Rapids and was the assistant coach of the USA Men's team at the last World Cup. More on "Mooch" can be found here. Our hearts go out the Myernick Family.

PTSC Gathering at Oaks Park
Please join the Portland Timbers Supporters Club at the Oaks Park Oktoberfest, Saturday September 23rd at 6:00.
Admission:
Adults $4.00
12 and under $2.00
55 and over $3.00
The PTSC will reimburse members their admission cost when they arrive. We will also provide you with some script to spend at the Oktoberfest area or ride coupons for the amusement park. Look for the table with the PTSC flag.
We will try to get some players to this event and of course our beloved Timber Jim.
This should be a fun evening to reflect on the seasons past and talk about the 2007 season ahead. It is also a chance to meet and talk to fellow PTSC members.
The Portland Timbers Supporters Club aims to grow in 2007 and become an outlet where single people and families can show positive support for our Portland Timbers.
Please let me know if you plan on joining us. You can call Kathy at (503) 617-4737 or email me at sales@stealthperf.com
Pictures of the event can be found here and at Timbers Army 107
